I make an appoint that was urgent and like 3 1/2 hrs after assuming my daughter was going to be seen they cancel the appointment. They had all the insurance information they should have called soon so she can some where else sooner.
I was hung up on while trying to schedule an appointment for 3 people. I called again, placed on hold, and after 8 minutes of waiting. I was hung up on again. I've had great experiences in the past, but that was a shock. I'll find a smaller Optometrist office to serve me and my 3 children--and my husband.
They refuse to take responsibility for the painful scar upon my cornea, left by ancient, 1994 surgery and 19 laser treatments following that.
I would not recommend using this facility or any other, in which caring for a patient is dependent on insurance and you are reduced to the name of your condition.
I had cataract surgery years ago. Prior to using laser to remove a cataract, they used to cut your eye and stitch it. Years later, a large scar has developed which in turn, causes an ability to wear a contact lens on that eye. Basically, the eye is only useful for stereo vision, because without correction, it is impossible to visually see out of that eye. The result: Hauser-Ross secretary said that , "You are a new patient (despite going to them for 30 years) and we don't stand behind any work that old. Funny, Lynn Hauser stood behind work from 1982 - 1994. The Hauser-Ross retirement has brought about a new "greed". Instead of an eye facility which actually cares for patients, it has become a quick, "Don't call us back" corporation.
I can see so much better after cataract surgery. It was a bit complicated because I had a very thick cataract. So thanks for a job well done.
Perhaps Hauser and Ross should explain the ethics to their current personnel.
The staff and doctors are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I have special issues with my eyes that require more that standard care and I find that here. They have helped me to attain excellent vision and by doing so, a better quality of life. I especially enjoyed how quickly I was seen and my issues were diagnosed, treated, and I was given the devices I needed to offer vision correction. I appreciated the talent, experience, and friendly team I got to work with at Hauser-Ross.
