I really like how this Jewel operates. They have a Starbucks, offer promotions and have nice sales. They have good employees and consider the customers. It's a nice place to shop!
Jewel, please don't leave your deli clerks to drown. Two people during an afternoon rush is simply unacceptable. Props to the brand new employee at the deli who did her absolute best to serve me and other customers with practically ZERO backup.
Otherwise, a great store. Clean, great customer service, polite and attentive employees.
it's always clean, and stocked. the people there are very friendly, just need more tellers.
Jewel must be feeling the pressure from competitors. Prices, especially in produce, have become more competitive. Replacing self-check lanes with express lanes that seem to always be staffed is a good move. Staff seem friendlier when seeking help to find elusive items. I have shopped much more at Jewel in recent weeks than ever before since this store opened. Glad to see the improvements.
Removal of the self service check out lanes was a poor choice. Store is so frequently understaffed, I find myself frequently bagging my own groceries or waiting in long checkout lines.
